The artist initially developed the fossilizzazione oggettuale in the graphic art. Towards the end of the '60s, the artist created the technique, a bit later called by the critic Enrico Crispolti Cartoggettografia, renewing the etching technique learnt at Master Arnoldo Ciarocchi's atelier. In the latest years, after his studies on a variety of techniques such as, etching, watercolour, pen-and-ink, advertising graphics, the artist renewed the cartoggettografia technique importing the experience with colour and sign made in the different artistic fields listed above. We would like to underline the importance of the "Arte innocente" cycle, as a path developed within the project "L'arte innocente. Le vie eccentriche della musica contemporanea italiana Rugginenti pub. house, 2004, by Renzo Cresti". This path represents his activity as a publishing illustrator that, in the course of time, has focussed his attention particularly on ethnoanthropology.
